About Speedy Electric
Speedy Electric Ltd was founded in 1973 by Mark Gilmore — a licensed electrician with a simple philosophy: show up, do the job right, and treat every client’s property like your own. Over the decades that followed, Mark became a trusted fixture for electrical service across Oxford County, building a reputation that carried his business through generations of clients and referrals.
In 2008, Mark retired and passed the reins to his son Paul and daughter-in-law Stephanie. Rather than coast on what was already built, Paul and Stephanie invested in growing the business — earning Generac and Cana-Vac dealerships, expanding their service area across southwestern Ontario, and assembling a team that reflects the same standards the business was founded on.
In 2024, Speedy Electric was honoured with The Township of Norwich Chamber of Commerce award — recognition Paul and Stephanie credit to every client who has trusted them over the years.
Today, Speedy Electric remains what it has always been: a family business that takes pride in its work, stands behind every job, and shows up when you need them.
